Ravenscroft football club logo

It’s nice to see some of my work being used outside of the usual digital or print media. This is the logo I created as a favour for Ravenscroft FC.

Understanding the purpose of a logo.

This post from Brian Hoff, owner of The Design Cubicle explains what a logo doesn’t need to be or do. It’s easy for designers to moan about a client’s requests and their lack of knowledge about design. Wirral TweetUp Logo

I’ve just finished this little complimentary logo for the Wirral TweetUp event being held on Tuesday 23rd February at Cromwells restaurant in Irby. Cromwells have also got a Wirral TweetUp account running – www.twitter.com/wirraltweetup – you can follow them there for all the latest updates.

This is the main logo that will be used wherever possible. There’s also an icon version, a URL version and all the different combinations they create.

New Logo for Ecuador SKY Project

A few friends of mine were voluteering in Ecuador for the Sumak Kawsay Yachay project, a foundation for the advancement of education in the community of Salasaca. Despite language barriers and thousands of miles between us, we managed to create this new logo for the foundation.

SKY Logo

I had made a logo for the school previously, which was called Escuela Katitawa, but I think it looked a bit corporate, I prefer the more hand drawn version above.
